Is now a good time to trade Bitcoin? After a 24% August rally and a Jackson Hole pullback, BTC is consolidating between $77,000 and $79,000. Volume is low, funding rates are flat, and the market is waiting for the August CPI print before the September 16 Fed meeting.

I am keeping my BTC futures exposure small on Bitunix during this range. Three things would change my mind: a soft CPI reading, resumed ETF inflows, or a clean break below $76,000 with volume. Until one of those happens, the risk of overtrading is higher than the risk of missing a move.
