If companies were truly running out of demand for workers, why are they still paying more to attract them? 🤯 The twist runs even deeper: tighter immigration enforcement may be slowing US labor-force growth — which means the “breakeven” number of jobs needed each month to keep unemployment stable could also be sliding toward zero. 44K looks weak by historical standards.
