Solana ($SOL ) has officially broken past major retail support levels, dropping down to test the $68–$69 range. While retail traders are panicking, let’s look at what the Smart Money Concepts (SMC) are actually showing us on the charts.
The Liquidity Sweep: The recent downward impulsive move successfully cleared out massive pools of retail sell-side liquidity that had been building up for months.
What to Watch For: We are currently tapping into an old, unmitigated weekly demand zone. For a valid scalp entry, I am tightly monitoring the 15M/1H timeframes for a clean Change of Character (ChoCh) and strong displacement upward.
The Downside Risk: If the current demand fails to hold due to broader Bitcoin weakness, the next major institutional magnet is the Fair Value Gap (FVG) resting even lower.
