DUSK LEARNING JOURNAL DAY 7 🇺🇬 | I Tried To Explain Tokenized Cement To A Hardware Dealer In Kampala

Day 6 I asked WHY cement price changes. Builders said: fake bags, no proof.

Today I went back to a hardware shop in Kisenyi and asked: "What if every bag had a QR?"

His answer: "If I can scan and show customer it's real, I can charge real price. No more blame."

What I learned today about $DUSK:

Yesterday I learned RWA = token size real thing.
Today I learned WHY DUSK is different - it's private.

If we tokenize 1 bag = 1 token on DUSK:
- Customer scans QR -> sees "Verified on DUSK, Batch #102, Factory: Tororo"
- BUT price he paid, his wallet, his supplier stays PRIVATE. Only proof is public, not his business.

Public blockchains show everything. DUSK hides who bought, shows WHAT was bought is real. That's important for business people here.

Question: If you run a hardware shop, would you use QR verification if it keeps your suppliers private but proves cement is real?

DUSK LEARNING JOURNAL DAY 5 🇺🇬 | Can Privacy Fix Uganda's Cement Problem?

Day 4 I asked why cement is expensive with no factory nearby. Today I checked prices in Kampala.

A bag is 34,000 - 38,000 UGX. In my district it's 40k+ because of transport. A small house needs 200 bags. That's 8M UGX just for cement. No wonder houses take 2-3 years to build.

What does this have to do with $DUSK ?

I learned DUSK is a privacy blockchain for real-world assets. In Uganda, cement supply is not transparent. Middlemen add price, no record.

What if building materials were tokenized on a privacy chain? Supplier can prove delivery without exposing business secrets. Buyer can verify without corruption.

I'm not saying DUSK will build houses tomorrow. But as a Ugandan learning Web3, I see a connection: privacy + real assets = less exploitation.
