📖 the story of september — resilience under fire
September 2026 will be remembered as the month Bitcoin proved it had changed. The month opened at $75,000 — still consolidating after August's historic +22% explosion. Four weeks later it closed at $80,000 — a solid +12% on the month. But the number alone doesn't tell the story. Because what happened in between was extraordinary. 👀
The first week set an immediate test. NFP August dropped on September 5 — +162,000 jobs, three times the 56K forecast, the strongest print in five months. The market had been positioning for a weak number and got the opposite. Pre-positioned longs from Thursday's pump to $82,300 got trapped as the Friday dump reversed the move. Rate hike probability for September 16 shot back to 85%. The month started with a clear message from the macro — the Fed had work to do. 😬
