Tác nhân AI (AI Agent) là các hệ thống phần mềm thông minh có khả năng nhận biết môi trường, tự lập kế hoạch, và hành động tự chủ để đạt được mục tiêu cụ thể mà không cần con người giám sát liên tục. Khác với chatbot thông thường, tác nhân AI có thể sử dụng công cụ (như truy cập web, gửi email, chạy code) và học hỏi từ các tương tác trước đó.
Đặc điểm chính của Tác nhân AI:
Tự chủ (Autonomy): Độc lập lựa chọn hành động tốt nhất để hoàn thành nhiệm vụ.

Trong khi Generative AI (như ChatGPT) tạo ra nội dung dựa trên gợi ý (prompt) và dừng lại, thì Tác nhân AI dùng Generative AI làm "bộ não" để suy luận, nhưng nó có thể thực hiện các bước tiếp theo, tương tác với các công cụ phần mềm khác để hoàn thành công việc từ đầu đến cuối.
