Adani Airports raises about 1 billion from Temasek, BlackRock and major investors

💰 Adani Airport Holdings, a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises, has agreed to raise about INR 98.25 billion, or nearly 1 billion, through a fresh share issuance to Temasek, BlackRock, Premji Invest and Alpha Wave Global.

🏦 The deal values the company at around $18 billion pre-money and is expected to give investors a combined 5.54% stake after three funding tranches, with the final tranche scheduled for July 2027.

✈️ AAHL currently operates eight airports serving about 96 million passengers annually. The new capital will support infrastructure expansion, ground handling operations and a roughly 22 million sq ft Airport City project, as the company targets capacity of around 200 million passengers per year.

📈 Adani Enterprises shares rose as much as 4–6% during the session despite broader weakness in Indian equities, suggesting a positive market response to the new valuation benchmark set by major institutional investors.
