Dear users:

Binance announces the launch of Binance Agent OS. This is a developer platform under the Binance Intelligence architecture that connects compatible AI applications and agents to Binance-supported capabilities using user-controlled permissions.

Binance Agent OS integrates Binance APIs, the Binance Wallet Agentic Hub, Binance x402, Binance Skill Hub, and support for the Model Context Protocol (MCP) into a more cohesive ecosystem—serving developers, users, and the entire industry. This release reflects Binance’s commitment to building infrastructure for agentic crypto experiences, and lays the groundwork for continuously expanding agentic skills, wallet capabilities, and developer tools in the future.

Key Features and Advantages:

Binance Agent OS is designed to reduce fragmentation issues in agentic crypto integrations. Developers no longer need to piece together one-off connection methods; instead, they can access a controlled platform and use a set of easy-to-discover capabilities:

  • Binance Trading APIs: Programmatically access Binance-supported trading, market, wallet, and on-chain functions.

  • Binance Wallet Agentic Hub: Wallet capabilities designed for agent-driven interactions, controlled by user permissions.

  • Binance x402: Payment and settlement base capabilities to support agent-driven payment workflows.

  • Binance Skill Hub: A place where developers can discover and use modular capabilities covering market data, wallets, trading, and on-chain activities.

  • MCP Server, based on the Model Context Protocol: Provides a standardized connection layer for compatible AI applications, enabling them to discover and use tools supported by Binance, reducing the need for bespoke integrations.

MCP is a new feature introduced in this release, but it is not the entirety of Binance Agent OS. Agent OS is a broader platform and toolkit; MCP is one of the connection layers within it, making it easier for compatible agents to discover and use the toolkit.

Why choose Agent OS:

The next phase of the internet will be shaped by agents. They won’t just generate content—they will search, coordinate, trade, and execute actions—serving users and collaborating with each other as well.

Binance has been rolling out various agentic capabilities across different products and code repositories. Binance Agent OS brings these efforts together into a more cohesive ecosystem, providing developers with a toolkit to build Agent-powered crypto experiences.

For developers, MCP can reduce custom integration work and provide a standardized way to connect Binance-supported capabilities. For users, it can help compatible agents discover and use crypto experiences under user-controlled permissions, resulting in a smoother agent experience.

About the Binance MCP Server:

As part of the Binance Agent OS release, Binance also launched the Binance MCP Server.

MCP is an open standard designed to standardize how AI applications connect to external tools. The Binance MCP Server provides compatible AI applications with a standardized way to connect to Binance-supported tools and liquidity, without users managing API keys locally.

After connecting, and subject to user authorization, meeting account eligibility requirements, and being available in your region, users can grant the following scopes to the Agent:

  • Read market data: Access tickers, order books, candlesticks, and funding rates without identity verification.

  • View balances: View Agentic sub-account balances, positions, and bills, and optionally enable a read-only view of the main account.

  • Trade: Based on the already authorized scopes and the products that your account is allowed to use, access supported spot, margin, instant exchange, USDT-margined contracts, and coin-margined contracts functions.

  • Transfer: Transfer funds between wallets within an Agentic sub-account, e.g., from Spot to a USDT-margined contract.

Notes

  • The Binance MCP Server does not provide a withdrawal scope. The Agent cannot use this integration to withdraw funds to an external address.

  • Access permissions must be authorized via a dedicated Agentic sub-account. This sub-account is isolated from the main account.

  • For supported order placement and transfer operations, users should carefully review the operation details before confirming submission.

  • Compatible AI agents include: Claude Code, Claude, Codex, ChatGPT, and VS Code.

How to get started

Step 1: Connect the AI Agent via MCP

Step 2: Enable and fund the Agentic sub-account for the Agent

Via: Profile > Overview > Sub-accounts > Account Management > Transfer

Note: The Agent cannot transfer funds from your main account into your Agentic sub-account. Only transfer to the Agentic sub-account the assets you are willing to use to authorize the Agent’s activities.
