It breaks each file into small chunks and spreads them across different computers. The smart part is you don't need all the chunks to get your file back, just enough of them. So even if some computers go offline, your files stay safe and accessible.

The WAL token supports this setup by rewarding the people who provide storage and helping guide how the network is run over time. It’s not meant to be flashy. It’s meant to work.
