The founder of the former cryptocurrency exchange FTX, Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), was considering paying former US President Donald Trump $5 billion not to run for president. SBF considered Trump a threat to democracy. This was announced by the author of a book about cryptocurrency, Michael Lewis, in an interview with CBS News 60 Minutes. SBF is currently preparing for the trial, which begins on October 3.
