OpenAI Announces ChatGPT App for Android

OpenAI has announced the release of the ChatGPT app for Android. Pre-orders can be made from July 21st.

According to the company, the app can sync history across devices. A similar function is supported by the service on iOS, launched in May.

In July, the developers of ChatGPT released a new plugin for the paid version that can analyze data, generate Python code, plot graphs, and solve mathematical problems. The chatbot managed to scientifically refute the "flat earth" theory.

More recently, researchers at Stanford and the University of California found that the latest ChatGPT models began to provide less accurate answers to an identical set of questions after a few months.

Recall that from May to June, global chatbot traffic decreased by 10%, and the number of unique users by 5.7%.
