CAP Stalls Under the Moving Averages: Is a Breakdown or Breakout Next?
Cap (CAP) is trading around $0.073248, up 2.31% on the day, and the 4H chart shows price squeezing into a tight range right below resistance.
After the sharp drop from the $0.089140 peak, CAP fell to a low of $0.065000 and then recovered steadily with a run of higher lows. Price has now climbed back to the MA(7) and MA(25), but the last few candles are small and indecisive, which shows buyers are running into supply.
What the chart is showing:
24h range: $0.071039 to $0.076446
24h volume: about $2.76M, with 25.3K transactions
Market cap: $114.27M, FDV: $732.49M
On-chain liquidity: about $1.30M, with roughly 4.5K holders
MA(7): 0.073537 and MA(25): 0.073997, both converging right at price and starting to flatten
MA(99): 0.077365, sitting overhead as the major resistance
Volume: low and fading, with the MA(5) below the MA(10), so there is little conviction behind the bounce
My take: The recovery from $0.065 was healthy, but the move is now stalling at the averages. The tightening range and thin volume suggest a decision is coming soon. A clean 4H close above $0.0764, the 24h high, would be the first real sign of strength, with the MA(99) near $0.0774 as the next hurdle. If price slips below the 24h low at $0.0710, the rebound looks weak and the $0.0695 area comes into play, with the $0.0650 low as the final line of defense.
Also worth noting, the FDV is more than six times the current market cap, and with only around 4.5K holders, the token is not widely distributed. Future unlocks and thin liquidity can add pressure, so position sizing matters. I’m waiting for a volume-backed break of this range before taking a view.
