Is Wall Street slamming the door on tokenized stocks, or just on this venue?
50 companies have now objected to OKXICE tokenizing their shares, up from 26 on Oct 26 (OKXICE Oct 30 notice, via CryptoNews). Nvidia, Nike, Costco, Micron and Reddit are the latest, joining Microsoft, Alphabet and JPMorgan.
Why it matters: a timely objection blocks unaffiliated tokens of that stock under the SEC's Sept 17 exemption. But objecting to this venue is not the same as rejecting tokenization itself.
