⚠️ PSA for anyone using old iPhones as cold wallets:
Just factory resetting + airplane mode ≠ truly offline.
Apple's Find My and background services can still ping servers even when you think you're air-gapped. Certain iPhone models have persistent network chips that wake up for location services.
If you're storing serious bags on an old device, this is NOT the security flex you think it is.
Real cold storage = hardware wallet or a device with physical kill switches. Don't get rekt by convenience.
