Binance has announced that it will begin resuming phase one of withdrawals on November 1, 2026, between 06:00 and 09:00 UTC, as part of its recovery process following a recent security incident.
The exchange says its teams took precautionary measures to safeguard the platform, carried out security assessments, and verified the readiness of affected services. Binance states that withdrawals are being restored progressively as security and readiness checks are completed. Deposit services remain open and were not affected by the incident.
Phased Rollout
Phase one will make the following networks and assets available for withdrawal:
Network
Assets
ETH, USDT, USDC
BSC
BNB, USDT, USDC
TRX, USDT
SOL, USDT, USDC
XRP
ZEC
DOGE
TON
USDT, GRAM
MATIC (Polygon)
POL, USDT, USDC
AVAXC
AVAX, USDT, USDC
Base
ETH, USDC
OP (Optimism)
SUI
Binance says tokens were prioritized based on user demand over the past week. Additional networks and assets will be added once they are ready, and users are advised to check the withdrawal page or the network status page to confirm availability. Users may experience temporary delays during the initial rollout due to traffic volume, and failed withdrawals can be retried after a short while.
Recovery Progress
Binance reports that it had already covered approximately 90% of the impacted amount in its previous update. The exchange now says it has covered approximately 95%, with the remaining 5% consisting of tokens outside its top ten listed assets, which are less liquid and take longer to source at the required scale.
According to Binance, all BTC, ETH, USDT, BNB, SOL, USDC, XRP, USD1, RLUSD, and ZEC balances are fully backed 100%, and users can verify the proof-of-reserves snapshot on the company's PoR website.
Commitment to Users
Binance states that user funds remain safe and that the company will absorb the financial impact of the stolen funds, not its users. The exchange has also committed to working with industry partners and law enforcement to support recovery efforts, and to publishing a post-incident report once the investigation is complete.
Binance describes the resumption of withdrawals as a major milestone but says its work continues, including strengthening safeguards, completing the recovery process, and providing updates as progress continues.
