Halloween is bringing something scarier than red candles: the temptation to trade without a plan.

Bitcoin $BTC recently dropped toward $76,300 before buyers pushed it back above $77,000. That recovery is encouraging, but the broader daily trend remains weak.

My weekend bias is cautiously bearish until BTC proves it can reclaim major resistance.

The lesson?

A bounce is not automatically a reversal.

🔍 Technical Analysis: Key BTC Levels

- immediate support: $76,300–$76,500

- First resistance: $77,800–$78,150

- Major resistance: $79,000–$79,150

- Bullish recovery objective: $80,000

- Deeper bearish objective: $74,450

🐻 Scenario 1: Conditional SHORT Setup

If Bitcoin rebounds into resistance and forms a confirmed bearish rejection:

- Entry zone: $78,000–$78,150

- Stop loss: $79,150

- TP1: $77,400

- TP2: $76,500

- TP3: $75,900

- TP4: $74,450

These are proposed planning levels, not a live trading signal. If price never reaches the entry zone or rejection fails to appear, I skip the trade.

🐂 Scenario 2: Bitcoin Recovers

If BTC breaks above $79,150 and holds that area as support, the bearish setup becomes invalid.

Buyers could then challenge $80,000. I would wait for a confirmed breakout and retest rather than immediately chasing the move.

🧠 My 3 Weekend Trading Rules

1. Protect capital with the 1% rule.

On a $100 account, my planned maximum loss is $1 per trade. I calculate position size from the entry-to-stop distance, remembering that fees and slippage can increase actual losses.

2. Don't confuse a bounce with a breakout.

One green candle cannot confirm a trend reversal. I look for market structure, volume, and a successful retest.

3. Never revenge trade during weekend volatility.

If my setup fails, I accept the loss and review my plan. I don't increase leverage just to recover money quickly.

💰 My Personal Trading Rule

Before every trade, I ask:

Is this a confirmed opportunity, or am I simply afraid of missing out?

If the answer is FOMO, I stay out.

Protecting my account is more important than catching every Bitcoin move.
