Bitcoin back above 80,000 ahead of the big US data at 17:30 Pakistan time
Bitcoin is near 80,195 on Thursday late morning Pakistan time, up from its day low near 79,636, after dipping below 80,000 on Wednesday. Ethereum is near 2,323, Solana is near 100.37, and most large coins are still slightly in the red over 24 hours, so this is a recovery, not a fresh rally yet.
Two things matter today. First, US spot Bitcoin ETFs took in 176 million dollars on Tuesday, a second straight day of inflows after 110 million dollars on Monday, according to Farside Investors data reported by CoinDesk. Second, the real test is still ahead: US Q3 GDP and September PCE inflation are due at 17:30 Pakistan time, with growth expected around 3.0 to 3.2 percent annualised and core PCE around 3.1 percent year on year.
A hot inflation print would support the two Fed members who wanted a hike, and that is the risk for crypto into the afternoon. Until that data lands, 80,000 is the level to watch, with support below near 79,500.
This is a market update, not a trade call. Size small into scheduled data, and respect your stops.
