Metaplanet is set to take a 93.7% stake in Nasdaq-listed Super League through a deal that contributes 2,100 $BTC and $2.5 million in cash. Super League shareholders approved the transaction on October 16. Metaplanet will receive 44.86 million common shares at $3.00 each, plus preferred stock and warrants. At closing the company will be renamed Superplanet and trade under the ticker SUPA. Metaplanet’s common shares carry a five-year lock-up. the 2,100 BTC represent less than 5% of Metaplanet’s roughly 44,000 $BTC treasury. The contribution keeps the coins inside a consolidated group rather than selling them. Super League’s existing advertising and media business will continue as a separate segment. this gives Metaplanet a U.S.-listed bitcoin treasury vehicle alongside its Tokyo listing. Closing is still subject to customary conditions and is expected in the fourth quarter. The approval clears the shareholder step. It does not complete the transfer. #BTC Price Analysis# #Bitcoin Price Prediction: What is Bitcoins next move?# #Macro Insights# $ETH
