Honestly, onchain trading is already messy enough. Slippage eats your entry, MEV bots get ahead of your transaction, and liquidity scattered across chains makes execution a headache. Now imagine AI agents handling payments on top of all that. If they’re going to transact on their own, they need more than speed. They need proper identity, clear permissions, and rules they can’t just ignore.

That’s what makes Kite interesting to me. An EVM-compatible L1 built for agentic payments actually makes sense if AI agents are going to do real economic activity. The separation between users, agents, and sessions is worth watching too.

Still, the real test is execution, security, and adoption. The KITE token has utility planned in phases, so I’d rather see how the network develops than blindly hype it. The idea is interesting, but delivery is what matters.
