January 3, 2009 — Bitcoin goes live.
2010 — someone spends 10,000 BTC on two pizzas. 🍕 First real purchase ever made with it. Today that pizza is worth roughly a small country.
Now it gets called "digital gold." Supply is capped at 21 million and never moves. And to this day, nobody knows who Satoshi actually is — or whether they're still alive, or whether they've ever touched those early coins.
