Ripple is starting to look much bigger than just a crypto company.

The Hidden Road acquisition, now operating as Ripple Prime, gives the company a way into Wall Street’s massive leveraged ETF market. It can help institutional clients finance trades and gain exposure to stocks and indexes through swaps, opening up a revenue stream that goes beyond crypto.

But what makes this even more interesting is what’s happening on the XRP Ledger.

New security controls are being introduced to help banks and institutions approve customers and process payments without exposing the keys that protect their main funds. That’s the kind of infrastructure traditional financial players need before they can comfortably move more of their operations onchain.

Put these two developments together and you start to see the bigger picture.

Ripple isn’t just trying to make crypto more useful. It’s building connections between traditional finance and blockchain, from institutional trading and financing to payments and tokenized assets.

Of course, this doesn’t automatically mean $XRP will rise in price. Ripple’s business growth and the value of the XRP token are two different things, and that distinction matters.

Still, if Ripple can turn these institutional relationships and infrastructure upgrades into real adoption, it could strengthen its position in the financial system.

The real question is whether that growth will translate into lasting demand for $XRP .

That’s what I’ll be watching. 👀
