🔎 Ethereum Is Testing Much Heavier Blocks on Sepolia $ETH developers are pushing Sepolia from a 60M to 200M gas target on Oct. 6, giving each block room for more than three times as much computational work. That does not mean three times more transactions, since different Ethereum actions consume very different amounts of gas. A late Prysm update matters because version 7.2.0 still defaulted to 60M unless validators changed the setting manually. Prysm 7.2.1 now follows Sepolia’s 200M schedule automatically, helping the public test run under consistent conditions. The test is really about whether clients, validators, builders and apps stay stable when blocks become much heavier. Glamsterdam has not been scheduled for mainnet yet, so Sepolia is the stress test before any wider rollout. #ETHFoundation #ETH #Altcoin Season#
