$ETHFI is up 6.95% on the week while most people still file it under "just a restaking token." i think that label is the mispricing.

the neobank relaunch is the part i care about. tokenized stocks, plus borrowing against your portfolio through a dedicated Aave lending market. that's a product people use every day, and it gives the token a revenue story. the reporting says traders are already rotating into DeFi revenue tokens, and Ether.fi was named next to Aave and Curve.

the Nexus Mutual partnership covers ETH slashing risk, which is the exact worry that keeps bigger money out of restaking. to be fair, both of these are the project's own announcements, and a relaunch isn't the same as users showing up. that's the part that could still smell bad.

right now $ETHFI trades at $0.7488, after a 24h range of $0.7026 to $0.7595. if it holds $0.7026, i think it retests the $0.7595 high and the neobank story gets the credit. if it loses $0.7026, i'm wrong on this and there's nothing to defend. anyone long would be holding a bounce that failed.

holding $0.7026 or losing it?
