Injective was one of the standout movers this week. On September 24, INJ rose about 9.6% to $8.51 in a day, while the broader market was nearly flat. At Bitnxt, we looked at whether this is a real shift in trend or just a news-driven spike.

The setup
For most of this year, INJ moved sideways in a $3–$5 range. That changed in late August, when price broke above a descending trendline that had capped it since early June. Before the breakout, it built a base between roughly $4.71 and $5.48. Even after this rally, INJ is still far below its all-time high of $52.94.

Five catalysts we're tracking
1. Meridian upgrade: Adds regulated token implementations, unified RWA perpetual markets, and early private RFQ testing. It passed with about 99% staker approval.
2. Stockdrop: Holders who commit INJ to the Community BuyBack burn those tokens and receive a pro-rata share of ecosystem revenue, plus tokenized stocks such as NVIDIA and AMC.
3. Solana access: INJ is now a native SPL token on Solana through Backpack Wallet, with no bridge needed.
4. U.S. regulated access: The first U.S.-regulated INJ futures launched on Bitnomial in April 2026. INJ ETF filings from 21Shares, Canary Capital, and REX-Osprey are pending.
5. Revenue that supports the token: Injective ranks #10 among all Layer 1s by trailing-12-month revenue, and its buyback has burned more than 7.1M INJ since 2021.

Levels on our radar
The first support to watch is $7.45 (Fibonacci). If that holds, the next target is $9.30. A break below it could bring a pullback toward $6.91.

Bull case: A daily close above $9.30, supported by ETF or RWA news, could open a path to $10–$12.
Base case: Consolidation between $7.45 and $9.30 while the upgrade news settles.
Bear case: Losing $6.91 would bring the breakout base near $5.50 back into focus.

Injective's fundamentals are stronger than its price suggests. The main drivers are its RWA infrastructure, the deflationary buyback, and a growing path to regulated U.S. access. The risk is that INJ has rallied on news before and then faded. The level we're watching is whether $7.45 holds once the upgrade hype cools.
