yThe first read looked bearish.

Hyperliquid reported roughly $1.48B in net bridge outflows over 7 days, while open interest hit a new $18B ATH.

At first glance, it looks like leverage is growing while capital is leaving.

But the cross-check tells a different story.

Hyperliquid Bridge TVL actually increased from around $6.54B to $7.50B during the same period — nearly $1B more collateral.

Spot liquidity is also growing, OI remains at record highs, and 7-day average fees/revenue are still above the 30-day average.

So I wouldn’t call this clear capital flight.

The bridge-flow and collateral metrics may simply be measuring different things.

For $HYPE , I’m cautiously positive — but I’m not chasing after a ~20% weekly move.

The key signal to watch: if collateral keeps rising while OI stays elevated, the trend remains constructive. If collateral starts falling while OI keeps expanding, that’s where the risk increases.
