After yesterday’s Senate vote, CFTC Chairman Michael S. Selig basically made one thing clear: the U.S. still wants clearer rules for crypto, and the CFTC is ready to keep moving with the authority it already has.
No matter what happens with the CLARITY Act next, crypto regulation in the U.S. is clearly not going away.
And if the U.S. really wants to stay at the center of the global crypto market, the rules will matter just as much as the technology.
