🚨 Grayscale’s Zcash ETF Crosses $500 Million in AUM

The Zcash story is getting more interesting.

Grayscale’s Zcash ETF (ZCSH) has officially crossed the $500 million Assets Under Management (AUM) milestone, reaching around $532.95 million by September 8, 2026.

What caught my attention is the speed of this growth. ZCSH only started trading on NYSE Arca on August 25, meaning it took roughly two weeks to move beyond the half-billion-dollar mark.

There’s more behind the numbers.

According to SEC filings, DCG International Investments Ltd. acquired approximately $100 million worth of ZCSH shares, while reported cumulative inflows during the period were above $70 million.

For Zcash, this is more than just another ETF headline.

Zcash has long stood out in the crypto space because of its focus on financial privacy. The ETF structure gives traditional investors a way to gain exposure to ZEC through a brokerage account without directly managing the underlying cryptocurrency.

Personally, I think the bigger story here is the growing institutional attention toward assets outside the usual Bitcoin and Ethereum spotlight.

That doesn’t mean the risks have disappeared. Crypto remains highly volatile, and strong inflows today do not guarantee the same momentum tomorrow.

But crossing $500 million this quickly is a milestone worth watching.

Zcash is clearly back on the radar. 👀
