Taiwanese prosecutors have charged nine people, including a Taiwan-based Nvidia employee, over an alleged scheme to illegally export advanced AI servers to Chinese customers. The case involves Nvidia B300-powered servers, which are subject to strict U.S. export controls.
According to prosecutors, 130 servers were obtained using allegedly false information about their intended use in Taiwan. 74 servers reportedly reached China through routes involving Indonesia, Japan and Hong Kong, while another 56 were intercepted by Taiwanese authorities.
