#dusk $DUSK @Dusk I thought bringing regulated finance onchain was mostly about getting the right assets onto a blockchain.

Looking closer at @dusk, I’m noticing a different friction point: what happens when those assets need both privacy and reviewability.

DuskEVM seems interesting here because it gives builders a familiar EVM path while Hedger adds confidential workflows using homomorphic encryption and zero-knowledge proofs.

That changes the framing for me. Privacy isn’t simply about hiding activity; it can be part of the application logic, with selective disclosure when authorized parties need to review something.

The question I’m watching is whether this actually reduces the friction institutions face when moving regulated workflows onchain, rather than just adding another privacy layer.

For now, I’m more interested in how developers use these tools once DuskEVM mainnet is live than in making assumptions about adoption.
