USDT Adoption Is Growing in Four Countries

Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino says adoption of USDT is growing in Venezuela, Argentina, Bolivia, and Turkey.

According to Ardoino, people in these countries are increasingly using USDT for savings, payments, and trade. One major reason is economic instability, including weakening local currencies, inflation, and limited access to physical U.S. dollars.

USDT can act as a digital representation of the U.S. dollar, making it useful for people looking for an alternative to rapidly changing local currencies. Tether also says its technology is now used by more than 570 million people globally, showing how quickly digital-dollar infrastructure is expanding.

The trend highlights a broader shift in which stablecoins are being used not only for crypto trading, but also for everyday financial activities in emerging markets.
