Just caught this M1 move on XAUUSD and it was textbook.
*What happened:*
Gold went vertical from $4382 → $4427.679 in under 2 hours on Aug 17. That’s a $45 spike. I took a SELL at 4423.867 with 0.05 lots and locked +$26.05 USD right at the wick.
*Key Levels on Chart:*
- *SL*: 4427.679 - Right above the spike high
- *Entry*: 4423.867 - Red arrow rejection zone
- *Current Price*: 4418.608 - Holding above the MA
- *TP*: 4400.666 / 4401.757 - First major support zone
*My Take:*
1. *Momentum*: Huge bullish candle, but we got immediate rejection at 4425.00. Classic liquidity grab.
2. *Structure*: Price is now consolidating and riding the fast MA. As long as we hold $4418, bulls stay in control.
3. *Next Move*: A break and hold below 4415 opens the door for TP at 4400. A reclaim of 4425 with volume targets new highs.
