Trading begins with making a clear decision about your daily objective. Before entering the market, determine how much profit you aim to make and, more importantly, how much you are willing to lose if the trade doesn't go your way. Every trading day should start with a well-defined risk and profit plan.

The market simply reflects price movement—it has no emotions or intentions. Your responsibility as a trader is to read the charts objectively and make decisions based on what the market is actually showing, not on fear, hope, or excitement. Emotional trading often leads to poor judgment and costly mistakes.

Before placing any trade, you should calculate the opportunity cost and manage your risk properly. Ask yourself: Based on my account size, what is the appropriate lot size? How much am I prepared to lose if my Stop Loss is hit? What is my expected reward if the trade reaches my target? These questions should be answered before every entry.

Unfortunately, many traders skip this process. They see a setup, enter impulsively, and place a Stop Loss at a random level without a clear risk management plan. Trading should never resemble gambling. Always remember that the money you put at risk is real capital—money that could have been invested or used for other meaningful purposes. Protecting your capital should always be your first priority.
