Will $LUNC return to 119$
Reality is you can't laugh at yourself and imagine
✅ 1. Yes, LUNA really reached 119$
But this is not the current LUNC.
The price of 119$ was for the original LUNA token before the crash in May 2022, when the Terra financial system was stable (UST – LUNA).
After the major crash and loss of the dollar peg, the following happened:
❗ 2. The token at 119$ is not the token you are trading now
After the standard fall:
The collapsed token was renamed to LUNA Classic (LUNC)
And a new token was issued named LUNA (without Classic)
🔹 LUNA = the new token
🔹 LUNC = the old collapsed token with a very large supply
So the token that was 119$ is not the current LUNC which is priced at 0.0000x$.
⚠️ 3. Why can't LUNC return to 119$ now?
Because the current supply is extremely large, in billions and trillions after the crash.
To approximate:
Before the crash, the number of LUNA tokens was ~ 350 million
After the crash, LUNC became ~ 6.8 trillion (then it decreased slightly due to burning)
Therefore:
Price of 119$ × 6.8 trillion
= An imaginary market value that doesn't even exist in larger currencies than Bitcoin.
Mathematically and economically impossible.
🔍 4. So what is the realistic price that can be reached?
Based on the supply size:
✔ It is possible to reach prices like:
0.0002$
0.001$
And maybe 0.01$ in rare scenarios if there is a large burn and strong liquidity injection.
❌ But prices like:
1$
10$
67$
119$
These are completely illogical without burning 99.999% of the supply.
