Nillion Covenants: mantenha o segredo comercial até que ele importe

O mercado não precisa ver sua ordem para usá-la contra você. Às vezes, saber qual instrução está prestes a ser executada já basta para negociar antes dela.

Nillion Covenants busca fechar essa janela criptografando as instruções até que uma condição predefinida permita sua divulgação. Dusk é a primeira fase dessa abordagem.

Como funciona o mecanismo

Em vez de confiar em um único custodiante, o autor seleciona um comitê e define um limite para a reconstrução. Partes criptografadas são distribuídas entre os nós.

Quando a condição é atendida, os nós liberam suas partes. Quando um número suficiente delas chega, a instrução é reconstruída e comparada com seu compromisso original. Um contrato conectado pode então executar a ação pretendida.

Por que isso importa para os traders

Imagine uma ordem de venda condicional cujo volume permanece oculto até que seu gatilho seja acionado.

Quem está de fora pode ver que existe um Covenant, mas não consegue simplesmente ler a instrução completa enquanto ela aguarda.

A vantagem não é a invisibilidade. É controlar quando informações confidenciais se tornam públicas.

Onde termina a privacidade

Os Covenants não ocultam todos os rastros. Alguns metadados permanecem visíveis, e a instrução se torna pública após ser liberada.

Um comitê suficientemente coordenado também poderia reconstruí-la antes da hora. Por isso, a composição do comitê e os limites de compartilhamento são decisões de segurança, não simples configurações.
