Ronin “homecoming”: From sidechain game to comprehensive Layer-2 on Ethereum
After 4 years of independent operation, #RONIN – the famous blockchain network associated with the game Axie Infinity – has just announced plans to abandon the sidechain model to become Layer-2 (L2) of Ethereum.
This move helps Ronin inherit security and decentralization from $ETH , while speeding up transaction processing 12 times with lower costs.
