XRP Transfers by Ripple Co-Founder Chris Larson Revealed
According to Foresight News, blockchain researcher ZachXBT revealed that since July 17, an address long associated with Ripple co-founder Chris Larson has transferred 50 million XRP. Approximately 140 million USD worth of these tokens was transferred to three addresses linked to trading platforms, while an additional 10 million XRP was deposited into two newly created wallets. The address controlled by Larson still holds about 2.81 billion XRP, valued at approximately 9 billion dollars.
Previously, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) accused Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse of personally withdrawing 150 million USD in XRP over three years during the legal proceedings against Ripple in 2020. Additionally, Larson and his wife reportedly sold tokens worth 450 million USD between 2017 and 2020.$XRP
