Crypto in Vietnam is about to be taxed at 0.1% per transaction!
The Ministry of Finance proposed: all crypto transactions, NFTs, digital assets... will be taxed 0.1% on each transfer, similar to securities.
🔹 Noteworthy:
– For the first time, digital assets are legally recognized in Vietnam, thanks to the Digital Technology Industry Law (effective from 01/01/2026).
– The 0.1% tax rate may just be a starting point – in the future, other taxes like VAT, personal income tax, corporate tax... may be added.
