Want to start the altcoin season, currently there are only these two methods
The first is to take the low liquidity junk coins, the junk coins where the project team does nothing, the same concept applies to junk coins that don't have market cap management and don't do in-depth series of junk coins. All the junk coins that Binance listed this year have been delisted, and only then can the altcoin season arrive. Now, 90% of the coins on the secondary market are just junk coins, without any meaning of existence. For example, in L2, there are OP, ARB, STRK, and in L1, junk coins like ICP and others. If you tell them that they do nothing and just rely on a few unlocks, they will all be delisted next month, leaving only those that are doing something. Look, they are all starting to do something. Now the coins on the secondary market are just too many, maybe ten times more than back in 2021, let the junk coins die. These exchanges should set standards and conduct a major cleanup. From now on, no new coins should be listed, and start ranking the coins I mentioned above for gradual delisting, just get rid of them all.
The second method is to reduce high-leverage contracts in order to have an altcoin season. A bunch of people are buying contracts, how to pump the price? The logic of price increase is that there are many buyers, but the problem is that as soon as it slightly pumps, they all go to the contracts. Also, normally, the market makers usually buy low and then sell high, but with contract market makers, they can just dump it, open a short and it's done. The reason why the low-quality coins rise sharply is that they can only buy spot, and when the price rises too high, you can only chase the spot, so the price keeps getting higher. Conversely, the contract low-quality coins on Binance are all dumped, it's that simple.
With these two methods working together, the altcoin season will naturally begin. With the profit effect, more users will come, and the platform can earn transaction fees. Now all major exchanges are large ships that are difficult to turn around, but they must turn, otherwise this industry will be ruined. Without users, even if you are the largest exchange in the world, it means nothing.
