The pizzas were ordered, and the bitcoin was transferred. Thus, the first recognized bitcoin transaction in history was recorded – now commemorated worldwide as Bitcoin Pizza Day.

One slightly interesting thing: Based on current prices, Laszlo bought those two pizzas for more than $1 billion – and to celebrate his extraordinary love for pizza and bitcoin, we are launching the largest bitcoin reward pool* ever created by any crypto exchange – and sharing $5 million worth of bitcoin!

How to Participate

Between May 15 and 28, 2025 (UTC), you can open Pizza Boxes containing BTC worth up to $20 for yourself and your friends by inviting them to join Binance!

  • Open the activity page and get your referral link.

  • Invite friends to join Binance through your link and complete KYC.

  • Once your friend makes deposits and trades each worth a minimum of $200 during the promo period, you and your friend will open a Pizza Box!

Each referrer can open up to 15 Pizza Boxes on a first-come, first-served basis. BTC token reward vouchers will be sent directly to their Reward Hub.

Climb the Leaderboard to Get More BTC

The top 100 referrers during the promotional period will share an additional BTC prize worth $50,000, with each prize reaching up to $5,000!

To qualify for leaderboard rewards, you need to:

  • Invite a minimum of 15 new users, and

  • Ensure that your combined trading volume exceeds the equivalent of 7,500 USD.
