The price of Bitcoin has faced a new obstacle as it fell below $80,000 after the U.S. imposed heavy tariffs on China. 📉

- BTC dropped to its lowest level in five months, around $74,000, but quickly recovered to nearly $80,000 before being halted by the new tariffs from Trump.
- The altcoin market fared no better as ETH, DOGE, UNI, and NEAR all saw significant declines. Ethereum was particularly heavily impacted, losing 5% of its value and hitting its lowest level in many years.
- The total market capitalization of cryptocurrencies decreased by more than $70 billion, down to $2.540 trillion.

Despite the volatility, blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies still promise growth potential. 🚀
