🎯 BINANCE FUTURES FEES – NEW FRIENDS, REMEMBER TO READ CAREFULLY 👇
🧮 1. Trading Fee – This is definitely something you have to pay, no escaping it 😤
Futures trading incurs a fee for both opening and closing orders. There are 2 types you need to remember:
🔹 Maker (liquidity provider) – place a limit order, waiting for the price to match
👉 Super soft fee: 0.02%
➡️ Order $10,000 → costs only $2
🔹 Taker (liquidity consumer) – click market, match immediately
👉 Double fee: 0.04%
➡️ Order $10,000 → costs $4
📝 TIP for friends: If you're not in a hurry → use limit orders for cheaper costs, small amounts add up to big!
🔁 2. Funding Fee – The "tip" every 8 hours 🕒
Funding fee is the amount the Long position pays to the Short position (or vice versa) to keep the Futures price close to the actual price.
⏰ Calculated 3 times a day: 03h – 11h – 19h (VN time) (for those with strong volatility, it's every 4 hours)
📌 Sometimes you receive money, sometimes you lose money depending on market trends
🧮 For example, if you Long 1 BTC at $80k, volume 800$ and the Funding rate is 0.01%
→ Lose an additional $8 every 8 hours if holding the position
📉 But if the rate is negative? You get a coffee money gift from the Short side 😎
💣 3. Liquidation Fee – This one hurts a lot, avoid it as much as possible
Liquidation = being “liquidated” due to insufficient margin → the exchange closes the position and charges a fee
💸 The fee usually ranges from 0.5% – 1% of the order value
⚠️ You can also get hit by Auto-Deleveraging (ADL) – being pushed out of the game completely!
🔒 SURVIVAL TIP: Set Stop-Loss, play with low leverage for safety, don’t go all-in based on emotions 🧘
✅ 4. Some fees that DO NOT exist (many friends often misunderstand):
❌ No margin borrowing fee
❌ No overnight holding fee
❌ No fee for withdrawing profits from Futures to Spot wallet
