The Shiba Inu ecosystem team announced a new feature in the collectible card game 'Shiba Eternity' known as 'Duel Mode'. This competitive mode allows players to enter a dual match, where each pays a registration fee of 50,000 SHIB, totaling 100,000 SHIB in fees per match.
The winner receives 80,000 SHIB (80% of the collected amount), while 10,000 SHIB (10%) is burned to reduce the circulating supply, and the remaining 10,000 SHIB is allocated as platform fees to support future development.
Lucy, the marketing head of the project, set an ambitious goal for duel mode, aiming to reach one million matches daily, which could lead to the burning of 10 billion SHIB per day. At the current SHIB price of $0.00001471, this equates to burning about $147,000 worth of tokens daily. This initiative aims to increase player engagement with the game and contribute to reducing the circulating supply, which could enhance the value of Shiba Inu over time.
Currently, duel mode is only available on the Web3 version of 'Shiba Eternity', which is still in beta testing with no official release date. The Shiba Inu community is encouraged to participate actively, as wide engagement is crucial for achieving daily burning goals and supporting the strategy to reduce the currency's supply.
