A few days ago, I briefly mentioned that the top-tier L1 project Monad has started its testnet. Today, I will write out all the interactive content currently available in the Monad testnet to introduce it to everyone.
Currently, according to official instructions, the interactive content of the testnet is divided into the following four parts:
Log in to the testnet website: https://testnet.monad.xyz/
1. Claim testnet tokens MON once every 12 hours; water is very precious now, so spend it sparingly.
(1) Discord has a full access role (DC community must be active, and you can receive 5 MON at a time).
(2) Wallets are active and the mainnet has more than 0.01 ETH, with 2 MON each time.
(3) The rest of the wallets can only receive 0.05 MON at a time; this amount is completely insufficient.
2. Play the social card game Fantasy Top Deck
(1) After entering the game, you need to log in with your email or X. After logging in, there will be a tutorial introduction.
This mainly introduces the sections in the game interface: marketplace, shop, competitions, whitelist, and personal profile. Other sections, such as the fantasy core section, are the mainnet version of the Fantasy Top game, and interactions there require mainnet currency; we will interact in the Monad testnet version.
① First, let’s talk about the marketplace section:
The cards in the game Fantasy Top are users of X. They are classified into star levels and rarities based on user activity. The higher the star level, the higher the card's attack power, and the higher the rarity, the greater the reward coefficient for obtaining rewards. Users can use game tokens fMON to purchase or bid for cards in the marketplace.
Note: When you first enter the game, you will be given 100 fMON and a pop-up page with 15 random cards. If not, the game may have lagged; try again later.
② Shop section
You can use game currency fMON to purchase card fragments. Card fragments can be exchanged for card packs, with different types of card packs yielding cards of varying star levels and rarities. You can also use card fragments to participate in lotteries, and don’t forget the daily sign-in at the very bottom.
② Competitions section
This is the competition, where you'll need to use your cards. Currently, it is divided into five competition groups, with higher levels offering more generous rewards, but also greater competition and higher quality requirements for cards.
A person can participate in multiple competition groups as long as they have enough cards and meet the rule settings for each deck.
As long as you modify your deck combination before the registration deadline, the higher your deck's attack power, the greater your chance of winning. The higher the rarity, the greater the reward coefficient. After the registration deadline, you just have to wait until the competition ends to see if you can receive rewards, which are distributed based on rankings within the group, including game currency, experience points, card fragments, and whitelist tickets.
③ Whitelist section, here you can use whitelist tickets obtained through competitions to draw for some special cards in the Monad ecosystem, which should be quite valuable.
④ Personal profile section
This is where you can view your personal situation. There are mainly two functions: burn and level up. Burn allows you to exchange your cards for card fragments, while level up lets you upgrade multiple identical cards to higher-level cards.

3. Monad testnet token trading
You just need to buy and sell on the Uniswap Monad testnet; it's quite simple.
4. Currently, there are 7 selected ecological projects for interaction by the official.
(1) Kuru (a token trading platform)
Enter to claim your personal avatar gift pack, and deposit test tokens MON for trading.
(2) Kizzy (a social prediction app)
Open the website in your mobile browser, then click to add the website to your mobile home screen on the right side of the URL. Then open it from the home screen to register. The registration invitation code says to fill in GMONAD, but it is currently invalid. I don’t know if it will be corrected later.
(3) Curvance (DeFi project)
Once inside, first claim water, then follow the introduced steps to complete the tasks.
(4) RareBetSports (predicting sports results)
First deposit the test currency MON, then predict the results of sports events, choosing numbers higher or lower than the given values. You can select 2-7 results for each bet, with a minimum of 0.1 MON. The more results you choose, the more MON you can win if all are correct; however, the more results you choose, the lower the probability of getting them all correct.
(5) Magic Eden (NFT trading platform)
Note that you should mint and trade NFTs under the Monad testnet.
(6) Plato Eats (social app)
First, click into the testnet to register your account, then go to the app store to download the Plato Eats app for interaction.
(7) Nad.fun (meme launching platform)
When doing strategy, it was maintained that you couldn't enter; anyway, it's just a meme launch platform; just go in and do token issuance and trading interactions.
(8) Other Monad ecosystem project interactions
In addition to the few selected projects officially promoted, if you have enough testnet tokens, you can also choose to interact with other ecological projects.
5. The above is currently the introduction to the interactions in the testnet of the entire project. Interactions in the testnet can easily encounter various bugs. For this level of L1, with high interaction volume, the current supply of test tokens MON is still insufficient, so spend it sparingly. Also, there is currently no overall points system, so I'm not sure what the standards for future airdrops will be... I can only say that the main projects have been completed.
