According to Foresight News, Sonne Finance protocol on the OP chain has been hit by a flash loan attack, resulting in a total loss of approximately $20 million. The attack was carried out in multiple stages by the hackers. The Beosin security team's analysis revealed that the attacker borrowed VELO Tokens through a flash loan and sent them to the soVELO contract via transfer. They repeatedly created new contracts, borrowed various tokens from the Sonne Finance protocol in the new contracts, and redeemed the VELO Token tokens. This repeated operation completely drained all the funds.

The attacker has primarily stored the funds at the following addresses: 0x02FA2625825917E9b1F8346a465dE1bBC150C5B9, 0x5D0D99e9886581ff8fCB01F35804317f5eD80BBb, and 0xae4A7cDe7C99fb98B0D5fA414aa40F0300531F43. The Beosin security team is currently investigating the incident and further details are awaited.
