According to an official announcement: In line with the BNB Chain team's planned sunset of the BNB Beacon Chain (BEP2), Binance has announced it will gradually cease supporting deposits on the BEP2 chain, starting immediately. The transition to the BNB Smart Chain (BSC) will take place over the next few weeks and is expected to be completed by June 2024.
As of May 15, 2024, Binance will no longer process deposit requests for all BEP2 tokens, excluding BEP2 Binance-pegged tokens (B-tokens). The company urges users to deposit their BEP2 B-tokens into Binance accounts before completion of the BEP2 network sunset in June 2024. Once credited into Binance accounts, these B-tokens can then be withdrawn via its native network or other networks supported by Binance.
