🔥🔥meta habitual: $50!
2. There are three similar projects: usual (market value 1.7 billion), ena (market value 15.7 billion), and ondo (market value 17.1 billion). Ena's mechanism will indeed attract a large amount of funds during the bull market, but its arbitrage model cannot operate during the bear market, and at that time, TVL may significantly flow out; ondo currently has a TVL of 630 million, but its market value is already 17.1 billion. Currently, usual has a TVL of 540 million and is growing rapidly at a rate of 2-3% daily. In comparison, it is clear that usual has much greater investment return potential. At the same time, it can also be seen that good stablecoin RWA projects are unlikely to have a market value below 10 billion.
3. Here comes the key point 🔥🔥:
Usual will be the first coin in a bear market!
Its mechanism guarantees that holding its stablecoin USD0++ during the bear market will yield no less than 5% stable income (derived from US government bond investment returns). We know that the cryptocurrency market is extremely volatile, and most coins have an average decline of over 75% during bear markets. At this time, holding coins often results in heavy losses. Savvy investors can mitigate risks by holding traditional stablecoins (USDT, USDC), while most people can only watch their assets continuously shrink. Holding traditional stablecoins (USDT, USDC) can avoid risks, but does not yield any other benefits. The profits of over 10 billion from USDC and USDT have been taken by the project parties, leaving nothing for the cryptocurrency community! Now usual has arrived, a completely decentralized community project with a safety level comparable to US government bonds. Holding its stablecoin can also mitigate systemic risks during bear markets while also bringing an annualized yield of no less than 5%! In fact, considering the growth of the protocol's TVL, income will also increase, providing support for the coin price. Holding usual's stablecoin during the bear market will likely yield more than 5%.
Let’s compare, holding during the bear market:
USDC yield 0
USDT yield 0
USD0++ yield 5%-30% (minimum 5%)
As long as you are not a fool, everyone knows how to choose!
Of course, one can also hold the stablecoin of ondo, which is also a government bond stablecoin project. This is originally why I have high hopes for ondo, but ondo currently has a market value of 17.1 billion, and in comparison, usual is obviously more attractive.
But even if I am optimistic about usual, why do I see 50 dollars?
—— The current market value of stablecoins is 200 billion, and it is expected to exceed 300 billion by the end of this bull market. USDC and USDT together account for 90%. I assume that when the bull market ends, 50% of the funds for various reasons will still choose to hold USDT and USDC, which yield no returns to avoid risks, while the other 50%, which is 150 billion dollars, will choose to hold the stablecoins of usual and ondo to mitigate risks.
Compared to usual's stablecoin, ondo lacks sufficient incentives. It can be clearly seen from the recent TVL that ondo's TVL has recently decreased rather than increased, while usual is growing rapidly at a rate of 2-3%. I expect at least 100 billion in new funds. If this prediction holds, it means that 100 billion TVL will bring an annual yield of 5 billion from government bonds, plus a 5% lending yield from the stablecoin itself, totaling an annual yield of about 10%, roughly 10 billion dollars.
Of course, this kind of prediction may contain a certain degree of optimistic expectation, but repeated thinking is not necessarily a bad thing.
Coinbase has USDC
Binance has its favorite usual
With Binance's rigorous coin selection ability, reputation, and traffic,
With Binance's past outstanding performance in launching new projects during bull markets,
Based on investors' distrust of traditional stablecoins,
Based on investors' preference for community coins,
I think, regarding the valuation of usual, why not be a bit braver? What do you think?
