🚀Attention BTC enthusiasts! Polygon Labs has proposed that the Celo blockchain community use its Chain Development Kit (CDK) to streamline the migration to Ethereum's layer-2. This comes after cLabs, Celo's primary development team, unveiled a plan in July to transition its layer-1 into an Ethereum-compatible layer-2 solution using Optimism's OP Stack.

🌐Polygon Labs' co-founder Sandeep Nailwal suggests that Celo implement the CDK, a codebase that allows developers to build customized layer-2 chains using zero-knowledge (ZK) technology. This would enable Celo to fully leverage the benefits of operating as an Ethereum layer-2 solution while preserving its core features.

🛠️The Polygon CDK toolkit, released in August, helps developers build blockchain networks with ZK proofs. It offers the ability to interconnect chains through a ZK-based bridge, creating a unified ecosystem known as the "Value Layer." Cosmos-based layer-1 blockchain, Canto, has already announced its migration to a zero-knowledge layer-2 on Ethereum via Polygon CDK.
