Golden Finance reported that Arkham posted on the X platform (original Twitter) that Tornado Cash is still the largest cryptocurrency mixer on Ethereum even after the US Treasury sanctions in August 2022. In the past 30 days, $77.35 million in assets have been transferred through its contracts on the ETH mainnet. Tornado Cash runs on 7 different chains and confuses the transfer of 10 different crypto assets. The most mixed asset is the native ETH on the Ethereum mainnet. At its peak in July 2021, Tornado Cash held more than $700 million in ETH in its contracts. After being sanctioned by the US Treasury, Tornado's assets shrank by more than 60% and transfer volume fell sharply. But despite the arrest of two-thirds of Tornado's founders, TVL and transfer volume later recovered, and Tornado TVL is currently about 118,300 ETH ($187.9 million).
