Recently, everyone should avoid going to certain places in Myanmar, the Philippines, and Thailand. I saw on Douyin that everything there is a lie—not organ harvesting, but they trick people into going there to join pyramid schemes. A girl in our village may have been deceived. Her phone number hasn’t been reachable for more than half a year. Her mother’s leg was broken when she fell a while back, and she didn’t reply to her messages on WeChat. She even started posting in English on her Moments. She’s about the same age as me, and she didn’t even finish junior high—how could she know English?
Damn, how did Bitcoin suddenly skyrocket? The other night I called for a short when it crashed, and then it started rising. It’s still rising to this point.
Too exaggerated. My cousin, who is just in her 30s, can’t sleep all night. She went to many hospitals, tried lots of doctors and medicines, and none of it helped. The doctor said it’s excessive anxiety—she loves overthinking at night. I really don’t get it. She already bought a house in the city, and even has a son and a daughter. What is there to be anxious about? What about someone like me, who’s almost 30, and I’m not married, and I don’t have a car, a house, or any money? Wouldn’t I be even more anxious? I don’t get enough sleep every day, and the moment I start work, all I want to do is sleep.
Bitcoin has fallen way too hard, and there hasn't been any bad news. It's just been dropping and dropping. At least I lost all my money—otherwise I would've been liquidated again.
Over the past couple of days, someone else in our village has gotten divorced. The girl got married into our village more than three years ago and had two daughters. Then her husband and her mother-in-law kept pressuring her to have a son. She didn’t want to, thinking the family is too poor and raising two daughters is already difficult. So her mother-in-law pressured her husband to divorce her. Then she took both daughters and left. It seems that this family will have no more heirs, because the man is already 35—he’s overweight, has started losing his hair, and is ugly too. He probably won’t be able to find a wife.
There’s an information post in our village—right by the bridge. Every day, when people eat, they sit there with their bowls in hand. As long as it’s not pouring rain, there’s always someone there. Everyone spends their days chatting and bragging; whatever happens in the village spreads right away. If someone’s wife runs off with another man, or if someone’s sow has little piglets, or if someone’s chickens get bitten by a dog, everyone knows it.
