1) The essence of the scam is that the victim sends money from the trust to his exchange.

2) Then the attacker generates a wallet, similar to the wallet exchange and sends a small amount to the main purse of the victim.

3) And the victim accidentally copied a wallet similar to his and sent it there. Always carefully check your wallets as a whole, not just by the first and last characters!

People think that the exchange sent them something and just copy the address, although it is the address of a hacker! For those who did not catch that story: Scammers parse transfers and drop some pennies at that address

4) Sometimes the addresses are similar. But if you don't look at it quite carefully while sending it back and just send it to the same address - the money is gone! In general...be careful. And better add a list of trusted wallets on the exchange, if possible!
